Coming soon - match reports of the 2010 - 2011 season
Witheridge Champions 2010
After a much improved season (2009/10), The Stoke Hill Rangers U10's side went into this tournament full of promise and they didn't disappoint, not only winning the league format, losing just the one game, but then went on to beat Cullompton Rangers in the final of the cup, scoring the only goal needed in the five minutes of a golden goal period. All the Stoke Hill Players gave their all on the day to make this a memorable moment.
Can I take this opportunity to thank the organisers of the tournament, after putting in a lot of hard work to make this event go ahead, only to find it was what I consider to be very under supported. I would encourage teams that want a friendly well organised tournament, to seriously consider entering this event next year, if it takes place.

Joe “The cat” Ware – Goalkeeper - extremely confident goalkeeper, that has progressed tremendously in the last 12 months. Has earned the nickname of “The Cat”, because of his ability to get to anything. “No ball too high, No ball too low, No ball too wide, I’ll give it a go”
Jordan Sandford – Striker - New kid on the block, on first impressions looks useful. More to follow.
Rueben “The Joker” Alabaidi - Midfield - hard working Midfielder. The Joker in the pack, always keeping the boys on their toes, you never know what’s coming next. “I might be the Joker, I might have a laugh, But I’ll leave you standing, On that blade of grass”

Timon “Thunderbolt” Brown – Midfield - Left sided Midfielder with a powerful left foot. Has left many a Goalkeeper red faced with his power. Our only naturally left footed player. “He seeks ‘em here, He seeks ‘em there, But when he kicks ‘em, They rocket through the air”
Luke “Battler” Dunstan – Attacking Midfielder - Having recently switched from Striker to Midfield, Luke has shown immediate signs of improvement in his game. Likes nothing more than a good battle for the ball. “I might be lanky, I might be lean, But if you look too close, You’ll see I’m mean!”
